Liza Huber to Return as Gwen!
Actress Liza Huber will return to "Passions" to play the role of socialite Gwen Hotchkiss. Huber, daughter of Emmy-winning soap icon Susan Lucci, originated the role of Gwen when "Passions" debuted in July, 1999. She vacated the role in the fall of 2000 and "Passions" recast the role of Gwen with now departing actress, Natalie Zea. "Natalie made the decision to leave 'Passions' to pursue other acting opportunities and it seemed a perfect fit to bring Liza back to the role she initiated," said Lisa Hesser, Executive Producer of "Passions."
Huber will first be seen as Gwen on October 3. Her first tape date is September 3. Check back here for more on Liza's return!
Andrea Evans Takes to the Stage
Andrea Evans (Rebecca) will be starring in the Chicago production of "The Vagina Monologues" from April 16 - 28.
For this Emmy-nominated actress, "The Vagina Monologues" is yet another achievement in an already amazing career! A Chicago native, she began her acting career in Brian DePalmašs "The Fury." Her role in the television mini-series "The Awakening Land" caught the attention of ABC casting executives, resulting in her long-term contract with "One Life to Live." She also appeared in two CBS daytime series, "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "The Young and the Restless" before joining us at "Passions." Andrea is active in many charities including Amnesty International, Global Relief, the Special Olympics and a variety of AIDS fundraising and research organizations. In her capacity as the City of Hopešs Celebrity Ambassador for their Walks For Hope Against Breast Cancer, Evans has led the Chicago-area Walk for the past two years.
The "Mother" of All Guest Stars
Tonia Kalouria, mother of Senior VP of Daytime at NBC Sheraton Kalouria, will be a special guest-star on "Passions" on April 23, 2002. Tonia plays "Tonia," a psychiatrist who picks up a hitch hiking Timmy, who is on the run!

E! Entertainment Television's "Rank" has named "Passions" one of TV's guiltiest pleasures. Mark Your Calendars for 3rd Annual Fan Club Event!
The 3rd Annual Passions Fan Club Event will be held on Saturday, July 20 at the Globe Theater at Universal Studios Hollywood from 8:00am to 12:00noon. And your ticket to the fan event will give you admittance to the theme park for the entire day! The Passions Fan Club has received letters, emails, and phone calls with your suggestions and hopes to make this experience an even better one for you, the fans!
We expect each of the "Passions" actors to be in attendance. In addition to a beautiful breakfast and an all day ticket to Universal Studios Hollywood (included in the price of your ticket!), you'll be able to personally meet your "Passions" favorites, obtain their autographs, take pictures with them, have a Q&A; session, see a great clip reel and receive a very special and unique thank you gift from "Passions!"
We only have room for 400 fans! We will sell tickets on a first come, first serve basis, and we will be seating fans at tables according to the order in which payment is received.
Tickets for Fan Club members are $75.00. Tickets for non-Fan Club members are $95.00. Please note that if you are a fan club member, but your guest is not, they will need to pay the 'non-Fan Club' member rate or join the Fan Club!

On Thursday, February 7, Justin Carroll (David), Jade Harlow (Jessica), Jack Krizmanich (John), Ryan McPartlin (Hank) and Chrystee Pharris (Simone) will join Y&R;'s Kate Linder and some of daytime's biggest names for a game of celebrity bingo that will benefit the Actors' Fund AIDS Initiative. The event will take place at DuPar's in West Hollywood, CA, 8571 Santa Monica Blvd. at the Ramada Inn. There is a suggested donation of $15.00 for a full night of bingo.
